Farmhouse Exterior Decorating With Flags

Decorated Farmhouse With Red, White and Blue

In the Summer months, decorating the exterior of the farmhouse always begins with a few flags. What better way to make the outside pop then using some red, white and blue against the white farmhouse.

I find the 48″ flag buntings  here that I drape across the windows. This particular set comes in a set of 6 which is great to use on a few of the windows and the fence out front.

I have a number of vintage flags in my collection but don’t use them outside because of the weather. Instead I found the perfect size here to hang on the porch. The best part is that it is Made in the USA:)

Flags in an Urn

These little stick flags are perfect placed in a garden urn. Find them at any Dollar Store. Here is another post on using stick flags.decorated farmhouse for the 4th of july

Why not add a few sparklers to the urns too.

Thanks for the follows:)

Blessings,

Carol

Here’s a quick video I did of the front decorated with the flags.

The light is beautiful!!

Hi Colleen:) So true about the sun fading the cotton buntings. I should look into the nylon ones. I hope to do more of the videos:)) Blessings My Friend:)

Carol, love seeing others use buntings. I got the nylon ones for our back porch due to intense sun. Thought the cotton ones wouldn’t hold up. Love your video. Please do more of them.
