Where Women Create Photo Shoot

Simple rustic porch

I recently traveled down south on assignment for Where Women Create Magazine to photograph the amazing Meloney Russell of Seed Box Antiques at her home in the Missouri Ozarks. Mel and her husband Brian have a thriving handmade business that employs several of the locals in their town. It was a beautiful day and I managed to get some lovely photos that will hopefully make it into the magazine.

Christmas Greens

Mel placed evergreen branches and pine cones in garden urns on a farm table on her front porch which made for a simple but beautiful display.

Don’t you just love the sawbuck table?

Metal Chairs

The line of metal brass chairs are perfect with the rustic table.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! Let me know if you would like to see photos of some of my Christmas decor at the farmhouse.

Oh, I definitely would love to see your farmhouse Christmas decor. Those urns just gave me the incentive I needed to go outside and cut some evergreen branches to fill up my own urns. Love the last photo with the chairs, light and shadows

Very nice. You always do great styling and photo work. Yes, please post X-mas shots of the farmhouse. I could not find what type of products the Seed Box constructs by hand. Do they repurpose metal objects?

      Hi Colleen,

Hope you’re doing well:) The Seedbox’s main wholesale client is Parkhill Collections out of Arkansas. They design metal cutouts and repurpose vintage objects as well as industrial look furniture. Really amazing talents.
